A Real and Personal Relationship

I love the Lord with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, and with all my strength; because He first loved me...

My Savior, Jesus Christ, has captured my heart, has made a home in my soul, has become first in my mind, and is my ONLY source of strength. Without Him, I am nothing, and everything in me is empty. The intimate relationship we have can not fade away, because he holds me tightly. My Salvation is now secure in the hold of the Holy Spirit.

My relationship with God is Real because He has Saved me.

My relationship with God is Personal because He Loves me.

My relationship with God is Practical because He Created me.

I know these things because without Christ I'd be lost and dead. Without the love of my Heavenly Father I'd be in total darkness. Without knowing God made me and with a purpose, I'd feel worthless and empty. No man is without excuse that there is a God who loves us. My relationship with Him is this real because I accepted His Son, loved Him back, and am striving to live a life that glorifies His name.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." Matthew 22:37-38

My Letter of Praise to God (December 4th, 2016):

"My Almighty God and Loving Father,

I life my hands up to you now! Thank you for being who you are, and doing what you've done. Thank you for Loving me. You've saved me from myself, and have forgiven me for every wrong-doing. You are my Master and yet my Father; I am your servant but you call me your princess. You are my refuge when I am afraid, or when I must hide. You are jealous for me and you desire my heart.

Lord... I have weathered many storms; you have always been my shelter. Thank you for protecting me from everything that could have damaged me. You are my only source of strength and my one true stronghold. You are our eternal King, and You are sovereign. You are my Rock and my Salvation. You are of peace, grace, hope, glory, and love; You are an amazing God!

You are the Father of Truth, and God over all the Kingdoms of the earth. Your Will be done. Amen

My Lord, you are the only one who can keep me from falling. I stumble so many times :( Let me keep my eyes on you, let me want you, and help me to hold onto you first and foremost. So that I might stay standing in Your Name.

You are my ultimate comforter in sorrow. When my heart breaks... when I cry out in painful heartache... when I want to give up... YOU are always there, comforting me through the hurt, and pulling me safely past the destruction.

Heavenly God, you are my confidence. Without you I am nothing. If it weren't for You in me, I'd despise and hate myself. Thank you, Almighty Lord, for lifting me upon your shoulders!

You are my song. You give me peace and joy and Love. I sing praises to you from the bottom of my heart.

You are my deliverer. From my sins you have brought me up. From the enemies of this world you will keep me safe.

You are my judge. I'd rather be judged by the world than by you. Give me wisdom to follow your will above all else, and to stand against the temptations of this world. That I may do well in Your eyes.

Above all, you are the God who loves me. There is no one like you, Jesus. I love you more than anything in this world. Thank you for being the author of my story! Give me more peace and patience to see what you have in store for me in the next chapter of my life.

I praise Your Holy Name; I Magnify your awesome Splendor; I worship You Lord, with ALL of my heart. Amen. And again, I say:
                                                   Amen!!"

So how is your relationship with God? I know I've struggled with many ups and downs in mine!! But just remember... He LOVES you. With real love. Let that truth wash over you, and you'll soon want to love Him back. When you've reached the point of loving Him more than ANYTHING else, then you know you're on your way to a relationship with Christ that will last forever. You may believe God exists... and you may call yourself a Christian; but what our Heavenly Father really wants from us, is a relationship that is real and personal. One that is so intimate that we can call Him Father, Friend, and our greatest Love.

Love God, and build a relationship with Him!! Setting everything else aside for a while... including religion, doctrine, and tradition... and really think about and concentrate on falling in love with the man who died for you. It's the most precious and beautiful experience that could ever happen to anyone. I know from experience, and I'm still in the middle of working on that as well!!! I believe it will always and only get better. Not necessarily to make us happy... simply to make us His. And that alone is all we will need, or want.

Thank you for reading. Have lovely day in the Lord!! And let God pursue your heart; open up and be taken by the love of our Holy, Almighty King.

God's Will

"What is it that God is purposing where I am?"

"Once I know what God is doing, then I will know what I need to do."

"The focus need to be on GOD, not MY LIFE."

I had never thought about this difference. But it really is an interesting and important point! I've always been so intent on my life and the choices I have to choose, and being careful to live a Christian life to represent me... when really, I need to examine CHRIST'S life, and follow Him and his example, so that I am better able to represent Jesus in the way I live as His child. To GOD be the glory forever!!! Amen.

"To know and do the will of God, you must deny self and return to a God-centered life." Focusing on one's own self-worth and what we have, is a self-centered view on life. But focusing on the Lord's power and what He has given us is a God-centered view on life. It's not about us or what makes us look good; it's about God's Will and what glorifies HIS name. As a servant of the Lord, I have been realizing that I need to remember this key understanding.

It's so easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you need to make yourself good enough in order to be called and looked upon as a good Christian. Yes, we need to follow God's rules and keep His commandments. We have to strive to live a Godly and Christian life-style. BUT... we can never be "good enough". EVER. That's why we will fail if we compare ourselves to other Christians or to what we imagine to be the "perfect Christian". Even our most righteous deeds or thoughts are like filthy rags to the Lord. We can never be clean enough, let alone "good enough". Instead, we have to compare ourselves to Jesus. And we must live our lives for Him; to live for anything else would be worthless. When we try our best to live like Christ lived, then our focus can better be centered upon The Lord's Will. And our strivings to a better obedience for our God will be more pleasing to Him, because when we look to Christ, we look to God. Therefore, with our lives, we can serve our Heavenly King. Not because we are accomplishing any great thing... but because we are allowing the Lord to accomplish great things in and through us. Our Father in Heaven has beautiful stories for each and every one of us; but our stories are only stories within His own. The whole purpose of this life, is to see the Will of God in everything. This is His World and His masterpiece. We are His beloved children. HIS WILL is perfect, and it is the whole centerpiece for our entire futures.

Give your heart, your life, and your desires to God. In His timing and in His way, His work will be done. We are His servants.

"Lord, whatever I know to be Your Will, I will do it. Regardless of the cost and regardless of the adjustment, as best I know my heart, I commit myself to follow Your Will ahead of time. Lord, no matter what Your Will looks like, I will do it!"

God has been working in your life since your birth. He was working out His purposes for your life prior to your birth. When God gets ready for you to take a new step or direction in His activity, it will be in sequence with what He already has been doing in your life. He builds your character in an orderly fashion with a divine purpose in mind. Give Him your life, and through it He will be glorified. Because when we make "God's Will" our focus, the Will He has for our lives with shine through and be beautiful. We must desire His Will, for us, for HIM. For us :) What a treasure His plan is!!

Now I'm not saying it's easy... living for God's Will can often mean dying to your own desires. It can hurt to draw closer to the Lord, when many times He will ask you to pull away from things you love the most. It will be difficult at times to understand why God asks you to make certain adjustments in your life, and you may not always be so willing. But when you obey, even when it's the hardest... God rewards you and in the end it is always best. His gifts are perfect. Our desires are sinful and selfish. His will is eternal and forever beautiful. Our own will is temporary and fades away with the world.

"What is God's Will for my life?"
"What is God's Will?"

It's not about ME and what I want, It's about GOD and what HE wants.

Lord, give me understanding on interpreting Your Will as the main key in living my life for YOU, instead of concentrating so hard on what your will is for MY life and ME. Amen

Happy Spring!

As today is the first day of Spring, and March is nearing a close, I figured I should write a new post!!

Life has been so busy for me... filled with ups and downs, laughs and tears, goodness and struggles. But through everything, God is wonderful, and His mercies endure forever. I praise Him for the happy times, but I thank Him for the sad times as well. Because in every situation, pleasant or bitter, I know He uses it for His purposes. All things work together for the good of those who love Him, and every good and perfect gift is from the Lord. What a comfort that has been to me recently!!

So anyway... Happy Spring everybody!!! As a new season arrives for us in this world, it reminds me of all the different seasons we have come through, and will go through, in our own lives. Whether you are going through a difficult season right now, or a beautiful season, just remember to hold on to hope, peace, and joy, no matter what. We should have hope in the promises of God, peace that He knows what He is doing and that the treasures He has waiting for us are worth waiting to see someday, and joy... because we are commanded to consider it ALL joy.

James 1:2-3 (NKJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.

Praise God and enjoy this new season! Both in the Springtime, and in whatever present time you are in with your own personal life. God has a purpose for this "Springtime" under heaven. Be encouraged and have faith in the Love of our Heavenly Father!

And now I would like to share a poem that I had saved on my computer. I wrote it last year :)

The Meaning of a virtuous woman

A beautiful white Lilly, always trying to remain pure,
A loving dove, ready to show kindness and compassion for to bad things cure,
An obedient servant, trying forever to remain faithful to her master,
A struggling soul, never ending in her fight against the evil tester;
These are of which describe a true woman desiring virtue.

To be a woman whose truths and graces never end,
Is to anxiously be ready for whenever God might call to send,
Is a fervent prayer and plea for an enemy’s soul,
It is a life to live and a heart to guard in commitment to your role;
It is to be a daughter of God filled with wisdom and willingness.

A rocker meant to cuddle close her children at night,
A fresh smile to send her husband off at dawns first light,
Eager hands to prepare a meal for her family each day,
Wisdom and encouragement with kind words to say;
Are the tools needed to be a devoted woman of Christ.

A gown of solid knowledge edged with humble lace,
Shoes fitting perfectly as to lead a straight and sure pace,
A flowing crown of rich locks to show the beauty God gave,
And above all, the words that adorn her tongue to heartache save,
These are of which a godly woman is to be clothed.

Smiles in which reflections cause her eyes to shine,
Laughter that brushes her cheeks to make them rosy and fine,
Words of wisdom and kindness decorating her lips to attraction,
Love for her Heavenly Father brightening her face above a fraction,
This is what makes a most lovely face ever longed to be seen.

A woman of virtue and honesty and love,
Is a gift of a wonderful and awesome power above,
Her heart is filled with a desire to serve and to obey,
Her soul is not easily fallen to the ground and left there to lay,
This is what I believe to be a woman, one that loves and honors the Lord Almighty.

~Trusting the Truest Love~

~Trusting The Truest Love~

No one truly loves me…

No one knows me…

No one cares for me…

No one trusts me…

What do I do?

Where do I go?

Who should I believe?

What do I need?

I’m all alone in this confusing world.

I have no friends who truly like who I am.

I’m living in darkness and fear for I know not what.

I’m barely hanging on and am still asked to prove what I’ve got.

Why do I feel afraid?

Why can’t I trust myself?

Why am I so depressed?

Why do I feel so angry?

I know life is not perfect.

I know that everyone has difficulties in their life.

I know…

But I don’t know why I feel like my life is purposeless.

I DON’T KNOW WHY I CAN’T TRUST ANYONE.

What is wrong with me?

I’m a failure…

I’m not deserving of life…

I’m a useless creation…

I can’t believe I’m me…

What am I?

Nothing really matters…

I’m going to die eventually anyway…

No one will know me…

Because I’m not going to let them know me…

It’s safer.

It’s easier.

It’s quieter.

It’s better…

IF I JUST DON’T TRUST ANYONE.

I want to have someone I can rely on.

I want to have someone to talk to.

I want to have someone I can show my true fears to.

I want to have someone who cares.

Why then do I feel like this is a silly thing to wish for?

Why does it seem like everything will only get worse?

Why can’t I let my heart be shown, to be open to just one person?

Why am I hiding so desperately?

I’m fighting myself…

I’m arguing with myself…

I’m trying to convince myself…

I’m only deceiving myself…

I know it and yet I don’t care.

I hear it but don’t want to listen.

I think it easier to put off my desires.

And yet I can’t stop wondering.

And fighting and arguing… over and over again…

Like I’m afraid of nothing but the person inside of me.

I’m angry of who I am and who I won’t let in.

Someone else might hate me…

Someone else might not care…

Someone else might hurt me…

Someone else might not be there…

I could get angry.

I could get mean.

I could get lonely.

I could get seen.

So it would only be easier to not love for real.

IT WOULD BE EASIER TO NOT TRUST.

It would be easier to not care.

It would be easier to not let someone be there.

~ ~ ~

Then I hear a voice.

Then I hear a call.

Then I see a light.

Then I see a hope.

What is it that’s there?

What is it that’s holding me?

What is it that’s saying it’s okay?

What is it that I hear and yet refuse to see?

Something…

Somewhere…

Someone…

Is there.

He calls me quietly.

He touches me softly.

He holds me gently.

He cares for me compassionately.

Why do I feel ashamed of my feelings of loneliness?

Why do I feel warm when I sense He is near?

Why do I feel at home when I am in His arms?

Why do I feel so ready to appear when I hear His call?

I’m free.

I’m safe.

I’m comforted.

I’m loved.

WHEN I TRUST IN HIM.

So this is what I must do.

So this is where I must confide.

So this is how I must live.

So this is why I must lean on Him.

That I might be ready to trust…

That I might be ready to love…

That I might be ready to dance…

That I might be ready to let Him in…

I’m loved.

I’m comforted.

I’m kept safe.

I’m opened to be held and to hold onto others.

For I will TRUST the Lord, who is the truest love of all.

Herbs: Some of the Benefits They Have On Your Skin

God has provided us with wonderful herbs in which we can use for our health and benefit. I love studying ways in which I can provide better care for my body. I also believe that this is what God desires us to do: take care of ourselves and the body He has given us.

Herbs have many different uses for your skin, not only for external health, but internal as well. God blesses us here on earth because He is a wonderful and caring God. He created this world that we live in and made us in His own image. Because of this we have a soul, as well as knowledge of a Lord who cares for us. He gave us the world to rule over and to protect. We are to be good stewards of what we are given, to use these things and to enjoy them. He gave us His Son and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, that through His death and resurrection we may live. God, even from the very beginning, knew what we needed in order to survive and be well. He provides us with clothes to wear and food to eat, that we may nourish ourselves and dress to please the Lord. He gives us shelter and houses to be protected in. He provides us with friends and family so we are not alone: Parents to guide us, sibling to love us, grandparents to advise us, family to surround us, and friends to grow beside us. We are given this world in which to live, even though we are aliens here; for as Christians, this is only our temporary home. We can fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ, and we can live our lives seeking our Heavenly Father by doing what might please Him.

All of this and more shows that our creator is looking out for us. Besides all of these things, God has also blessed us with useful and amazing healing herbs. These plants, weeds, flowers, trees, shrubbery, and vegetables, can all be used for the benefit of your body, the temple of the Lord. They provide internal benefits, such as every-day sicknesses, digestive problems, organ weaknesses, weight loss, and memory; it also boosts the immune system, cures or prevents diseases and cancers, and gives the inward health you need for a more beautiful outward appearance. These plants also benefit the skin in general, in which area I am most prominent to discuss now. They strongly help common problems such as acne and blackheads, slows the "nightmare" of physical aging ;P and brings out a vibrant and healthier skin tone. It gives your face a beautifying color, and enhances texture and hydration to your skin.

I have chosen 15 different common herbs that are used particularly for different skin conditions. These herbs are: Spruce, Dandelion, Oak Bark, Violet, Basil, Chamomile, Fennel, Green Tea, Lavender, Peppermint, Red Raspberry, Rose Petals, Rosemary, Plantain, and Licorice Root. Now, keep in mind that there are many, many more herbs that can be used for skin and external health care; I, however, have simply chosen 15 to study and expound on.

SPRUCE 1 : The needles are extremely high in vitamin C, and can be made into toners and healing balms, for they have properties beneficial for anti-acne formulas. This tree medicine can be used to help oily skin and large pores. The antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti-infectious, and anti-inflammatory properties make it especially helpful for your skin, and it is even useful for certain kinds of wounds.

DANDELION 2 : A source of vitamins A, B, C, D, and K, this weed helps with acne, irritated skin, eczema, and other conditions. The root promotes clear skin, and as a beautifier helps large pores, age spots, sunburn, and chapped skin. It can also be used to curb growths such as warts. The root, leaves, and sometimes flowers can be used in every way, including for boils, itching areas, and arthritis. It is anti-inflammatory, and the vitamin K keeps the skin replenished and rejuvenated. It also has minerals to keep a healthy skin tone.

OAK BARK 3 : It very is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. It is a useful product for acne, and is a soothing treatment for conditions such as poison ivy, for it's also very antiseptic. This herb can be used for good toning as well.

It is anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial. Ring worm and insect bites can be cured, and the skin becomes softer, supple, and healthier. You can create a Basil mask with the leaves, some salt, and egg whites, because the egg white help tighten pores. Basil does wonders with many beautifying factors, including dandruff and hair loss. It is very anti-aging, and gives for a glowing, blemish-free skin tone.

It moisturizes dry skin and cleanses pores; helps with acne, scars, dark circles, eczema, rashes, sores, burns, and ulcers. It can be used on babies and fragile skin, as it is mild and good for any skin type. It lightens skin tone also.

FENNEL 7 : Another common herb that can be used in many wonderful ways! It is mostly used for its anti-aging and moisturizing properties. It treats prematurely aged, sun-damaged, and wrinkled skin. It can clear and tone skin, balance oils, fight acne, and hydrate. Applying cooled strong tea can help reduce puffy eyes. It keeps skin glowing, taut, supple, and smooth. It also supplies the body with essential minerals to bring oxygen to skin by unclogging grime, dirt, and germs from deep within the pores. It's loaded with minerals and vitamins A, C, and E.

GREEN TEA 8 : This extremely common tea is another amazing tool to use on your skin! Its main healing power is for acne. It's used to cleanse, tone, and purify your skin. You can do something as simple as brewing the tea and leaving it cool; then wetting you face with it several times over a period of several days.

LAVENDER 9 : This sweet-smelling, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiseptic herb is an excellent treatment against either too dry or too oily of skin. It cares for acne, irritations, mosquito and other insect bites, burns, cuts, eczema, cold sores, pain, or otherwise stressed or inflamed skin. It can also help in the case of hair loss. It is good for all skin types, and prevents premature aging. It can also be used on chapped or sunburned lips.

PEPPERMINT 10 : This anti-inflammatory herb and spice is filled with vitamins A and C, iron, magnesium, calcium, minerals, potassium, manganese, and copper. It works well for dry and oily skin, and helps clarify skin and clear large pored complexions. It makes skin brighter, tones it beautifully, reduces redness, and helps rid acne.

RED RASPBERRY 11 : This unlikely toner works amazing wonders on oily, irritated, and/or acne-infested skin. It's a great astringent for tightening the top layers of skin, and is a strong agent for anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties. It's filled with potassium, calcium, manganese, magnesium, fiber, vitamins A, B, C, and E, Linoleic, oleric acids, and iron. It does well with replenishing moisture, helping with repairs, and improving elasticity to skin.

ROSE PETALS 12 : These flower petals can help your dry, inflamed, and/or suffering skin tone. It can cleanse and give moisture to even the most sensitive areas. It helps get rid of wrinkles, fine lines, acne, puffy eyes, dark circles, and oil. It's antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidant, and rich with vitamin C. It can also help with swollen skin, eczema, and sunburn. And it will give you a soft and glowing tone, working as an anti-aging agent as well.

ROSEMARY 13 : Is one awesome herb! It helps to improve even your memory! It improves blood flow to the skin, and is an excellent toner and astringent, helping with elasticity. It's antibacterial side helps with blackheads and acne. It works well against dry or oily skin, and cares for a dull and lifeless tone. Being very moisturizing and healing to damaged skin, Rosemary is rich in iron, calcium, and vitamins, and works also as an anti-oxidant. It's anti-inflammatory properties sooth the skin, burns, eczema, itchiness, and sunburn. It's very anti-aging and reduces the chance of wrinkles, and lightens dark spots.

PLANTAIN 14 : Is most useful for pulling out bee stings, and working on itchy, inflamed, irritated, bitten, splinted, cut, bruised, painful, or burned areas of your skin. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antibiotic, and is very nourishing and anti-aging. It's good for healing wounds and rare skin conditions. Since it helps draw things out to clear your pores, it can also care cases of bad acne. It is very useful for dry skin as well.

LICORICE ROOT 15 : Is a strong anti-inflammatory root that soothes irritants on skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and other caused redness and inflammation. It lightens skin, reduces age spots, brightens complexion, and is all around a great toner and anti-aging agent! It cuts oil from the skin, and can be used on even sensitive skin types. It also is great at reducing dark circles under the eyes and the dark marks caused be scars, being a perfect beautifier.

Now, there are several ways in which you can use these herbs in order to apply them to your face or other areas of your skin. Like I have already mentioned, many herbs can be brewed into teas, then you would wash your face with that tea several times each day over a decent period of time. You can also make your own yogurt, honey, clay, and oatmeal masks; there are many fun recipes on line. More options would be to do a facial scrub or steam with certain herbs, make yourself a bath soak, eye compress, sunburn soother, or simply drink your cup of tea every day.

There are many other exotic recipes and treatments on line. So many options! The most appropriate time to apply these herbal remedies is simply when you feel your skin needs an extra boast, whether it is once a month to shine up your complexion, or every day to help heal your suffering physical beauty.

Be aware of allergies... if you have a tendency to be allergic to many things, just be cautious at first with what you put on your skin until you know that it does not cause a rash or other irritations. Also, if you are taking other medical supplements or have specific interactions with other medicine, you should consult a doctor or do some research to be sure you aren't taking (internally) herbs that will react negatively with those drugs. At the same time, be sure the herbs you take internally are also safe if you are pregnant. You can often find out the answer to this by doing some research on reliable online sources.

When taking these herbs internally, not only could you drink the tea, but other options would be to make tinctures, pills, smoothies, chopped into food, or any other way you can imagine.

Herbs are, in fact, God-given gifts to us as humans. We are to recognize this gift, and thank the Lord for it. We are to praise God for the ability of using all that He's provided us with. We must always know that what we use here on earth has been given to us by our heavenly Father, and we should use these gifts for living. We are called to learn about God's creation, and as His children, we ought to use what He places into our hands. And it's wonderful when we can teach others about what we know, too; whether through classes, simple conversation, or a small lecture with your children. Best of all, learn and understand how to use herbs for your own benefit (where you mostly need healing in your body, physically and even emotionally). Find out how and where you can find the different herbs of herbal remedies you need. Collect them after researching which herbs you can use in which ways for specific problems. You can buy herbs in many different places (whether on line or in some towns/cities), or if you enjoy such things, you can even grow your own to harvest.

God has provided us with herbs that work wonders. With these, we can polish and freshen our own health and benefit. Herbs are not only beautifiers and toners for your skin; they are essential, natural medicines for every-day health internally, physically, and mentally. Herbs are one tool God gave us as He serves to be our ultimate physician.
